Jaleel White has brought laughter to millions of people around the world as a multi-talented actor who has also become an emerging screenwriter. Mr. White is best known for his portrayal of Steve Urkel/Stefan Urquelle on ABC TV’s long running series, Family Matters. The show is 1 of 22 shows in television history to reach 200 episodes. Family Matters continues to be a syndication juggernaut in Spain, France and Australia, plus numerous other overseas territories.

While attending UCLA’s School of Film and Television, Mr. White occupied a dual role as star and producer of the UPN series Grown-Ups. Upon graduating from UCLA, Mr. White worked as a WGA writer for such notable companies as Imagine Entertainment and Disney Channel Television. He has also resumed acting, having been last seen in ABC’s Boston Legal, Dreamwork’s Dreamgirls and most recently, USA Network’s cable smash, Psych.
